Job Summary: The CDL Truck Driver is a critical member of the shipping and receiving operations team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and straight trucks, to deliver bricks and resale items to customer job sites and commercial yards. Deliveries require using a truck-mounted forklift to unload materials as directed by customers or job site supervisors. Additionally, the CDL Truck Driver will transport production materials from suppliers to the company's production plant using a commercial tractor with a dump trailer or a tandem dump straight truck. Operate company-owned and leased commercial trucks in a safe and alert manner. Facilitate the delivery, pickup, and relocation of brick products and materials. Conduct required pre-, during- and post-operation inspections and maintenance and complete related reports. Deliver exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations. Operate material handling equipment effectively. Maintain certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs. Safeguard and maintain company property in excellent condition. Adhere to FMCSA, DOT, and state regulations. Perform additional tasks as needed to support and improve team operations. Active role requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. Regularly required to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Requires specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
