About the Role
The Company is a leading organization dedicated to the clean energy transition and is now in search of a Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer (CSSO) to spearhead its sustainability and innovation initiatives. The role also involves establishing strategic programs and partnerships that align with sustainability goals, showcasing the company's commitment to economic development and job creation, and demonstrating innovation in the clean energy transition. Applicants for the CSSO position at the company must have a bachelor's degree and at least 4 years' of management experience at the Director level in corporate strategy, corporate sustainability, or environmental planning and management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and impact, with a focus on specific projects and initiatives that highlight their experience. While not mandatory, related certifications in sustainability are preferred. The role demands a leader who can set and monitor performance indicators, and who is adept at shaping the corporate narrative on progress. The CSSO will be at the forefront of the organization's mission to foster sustainable and equitable growth, and will play a pivotal role in the clean energy transition, including electrification strategies, equity strategies, and various clean energy programs.
