About the Role:

Position: Construction Engineer

Location: Boydton, VA

Summary:

Are you a detail-oriented construction professional with a passion for engineering and process improvement? We're seeking a Construction Project Engineer to support large-scale infrastructure projects in Boydton, VA . This is a 100% onsite role offering the opportunity to work with a top-tier tech organization.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze time, motion, and workflow to establish standard production rates and improve efficiency.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics; collaborate with teams to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Assist in planning work assignments based on machine capacity, schedules, and potential delays.
  • Create charts, diagrams, and floor layouts for material handling and equipment utilization.
  • Conduct on-site observations to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
  • Evaluate data, prepare reports, and identify deviations from production standards.
  • Monitor document control processes and support materials management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in construction or industrial project engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, material handling, and document control.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and engineering reports.
  • Experience with CAD and other engineering-related software.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred:

Data Center experience

Salary Range: $ 140000 - 145000 Annually - Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
