Join Our Team as a Patient Coordinator Start Jan 1st 2026 or later Hudson Valley Dental TMD & Facial Aesthetics LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to support our growing practice in Poughkeepsie, NY. This part-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a patient-focused environment and enjoys being the organizational backbone of a clinical team. Schedule Monday: 9 am- 4:30 PM Tuesday 9 am- 4:30 PM Wednesday 9am-2pm PM ( possible 4:30 pm) Thursday: 9 am- 4:30 PM Saturday once a month Key Responsibilities As our Patient Coordinator/ office manager in training, you’ll be the primary non-clinical point of contact for patients and a vital part of our administrative operations: Front Desk & Patient Relations Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone Schedule appointments and manage waitlists Provide education and support on practice policies and insurance procedures Scheduling & Software Management Utilize dental management software to coordinate appointments for doctors and hygienists(Curve Dental) Confirm appointments using marketing/communication tools Schedule referrals with specialists as needed Records & Documentation Input and maintain patient data, including medical histories, treatment plans, insurance details, x-rays, and photographs Organize and update paper charts with required forms and documentation Financial Coordination Process patient payments and discuss payment plans Verify insurance, submit claims and pre-estimates Handle collections and communicate with insurance carriers Office Operations Open and close the office following established protocols Order supplies and manage inventory Relay messages and collaborate with providers and assistants to ensure a smooth, safe, and welcoming patient experience Benefits Paid Sick Days Paid Holidays Vacation Days If you're organized, compassionate, and ready to make a meaningful impact in a specialized dental practice, we’d love to hear from you!
