We are seeking a *Director of Operations* to lead our Des Moines operations. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic leader to make a meaningful impact in EMS operations and the community we serve.

*Position Summary*

The *Director of Operations* will oversee all aspects of the Des Moines operation, ensuring high standards of service delivery, operational efficiency, and employee engagement. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the Director will play a key role in strategic planning, resource management, and fostering partnerships with community stakeholders.

*Key Responsibilities*
* *Operational Leadership*
* Develop and execute operational plans to meet company goals and community needs.
* Oversee the daily operations, including emergency response, non-emergency transportation, and logistics.
* Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
* *Team Management*
* Lead and inspire a diverse team of EMS professionals, including supervisors, paramedics, EMTs, and support staff.
* Drive employee engagement, professional development, and retention initiatives.
* *Quality & Compliance*
* Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
* Oversee quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
* *Community & Stakeholder Engagement*
* Serve as the primary liaison with local government, healthcare systems, and other community partners.
* Represent the organization at public events, industry conferences, and in community outreach efforts.
* *Financial Oversight*
* Develop and manage budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.

*Qualifications*
* Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in EMS, healthcare, or a related industry.
* Proven track record of success in managing large-scale operations and teams.
* Knowledge of EMS systems, dispatch operations, and regulatory compliance.
* Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in data analysis, budgeting, and performance management tools.
* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
