Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:Working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, qualify, and test applicationPlanning, designing, and implementing data structures and software algorithms to deliver cutting-edge solutionsCreating design documents pertinent to the various phases of firmware developmentDocumenting findings of engineering analyses and investigationsTesting, debugging, verification, and validation of functional modules against requirementsWorking closely with the team to deliver and optimize system performanceKey RequirementsMinimum of a masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related fieldExperience in microcontroller firmware development, preferably STM32Ability to use debugging emulation and simulation toolsConfident with serial communication protocols USB, UART, I2C, and SPIYou have knowledge of basic electronics hardware and its interfacing with software systemsYou are a strong problem solver and team playerPreferred Skills:A good understanding of Embedded programming and Embedded SystemsWireless Communication knowledge/experienceVerilog or VHDL for FPGA development experienceDrone software experience, preferably PX4 and MavlinkSoftware/Firmware Development, Testing, and Deployment experienceOscilloscope and multi-meter operational knowledgeBreadboard and/or soldering experience
