Assist a faculty member with teaching‑related tasks. Grade student assignments that require knowledge of subjects taught in a class or laboratory. Meet with and/or tutor students, mentor students in disciplinary writing, hold office hours, prepare instructional materials, and assist during class and/or lab. Salary Rate / Pay Rate $755 to $1,510 Required Qualifications Eligible for appointment as per the requirements in the Graduate Assistant Handbook, which can be found at . Must have at least applied to the Sociology or Anthropology Master's program at Illinois State University. For Teaching Assistant positions, state law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language. Must be a degree‑seeking graduate student at Illinois State University.
