Job Description

Interior Designer

Location: Must be local in the bay area and able to come to San Anselmo, CA 2-3 days a week.

Our client is on the hunt for a creative soul with an eye for style and a passion for turning spaces into experiences. This role demands a refined design sensibility, exceptional project management skills, and a strong understanding of both construction and interior detailing from millwork to mohairs. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the full lifecycle of luxury residential builds and renovations, delivering cohesive, tailored living spaces that exceed client expectations. Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in high-end residential design experience.
  • Responsible for effectively managing 3-5 projects concurrently.
  • Oversee creative direction and consult with the Creative Director.
  • Responsible for collaborating on the design of projects from pre-design and development, through construction administration and management of installation.
  • Research and develop furniture plans, custom furnishing designs and material schemes that match the client's aesthetic, functional goals and budget.
  • Execute project designs within budget to maximum client satisfaction and optimal company margins.
  • Proficient experience with SketchUp and Conceptual Modeling in 3D model software or CAD
  • Create and manage floor Plans/Elevations in CAD or SketchUp.
  • Create and oversee custom furniture specifications.
  • Create + manage project budgets including profitability.
  • Leads project design efforts, client interactions and presentations.
  • Oversee FF&E + Finish Schedules to Company Standards and design intent.
  • Review invoices & POs for accuracy prior to Client and Vendor submission.
  • Create and maintain relationships with tradesmen, effectively communicate with all contracting partners & vendors.
  • Possess strong leadership and team building skills to projects through completion and in a timely manner.
  • Able to effectively run and manage site visits.
  • Oversee styling and photo shoots.
