Bilingual (Italian/English) Senior Associate (Audit & Tax) - Atlanta, GA

Who:
We are seeking a Senior Associate with 2-5+ years of public accounting experience and native-level Italian communication skills.

What:

Position Overview:

The Bilingual (Italian/English) Senior Associate (Audit & Tax) will supervise audit engagements, support complex tax compliance, collaborate with specialists, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables across a portfolio of international clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise audit engagements across multiple industries.
  • Develop and execute audit programs by setting objectives, identifying risks, evaluating controls, and designing testing procedures.
  • Perform technical accounting research on various topics.
  • Prepare Federal and state corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
  • Conduct technical tax research on Federal, state, and international topics.
  • Collaborate with tax specialists on complex issues.
  • Assist in reviewing tax returns, audit workpapers, and client communications.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain clear communication to manage client expectations and satisfaction.
  • Delegate tasks effectively by establishing goals and removing obstacles.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development efforts.
  • Train, mentor, and provide performance feedback to associates.
Qualifications:
  • Native-level Italian language proficiency (written and verbal).
  • 2-5+ years of professional experience, including public accounting.
  • BA/BS in Accounting or Master's in Accounting/Taxation.
  • Excellent English writing, research, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process-driven mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • U.S. CPA license or actively pursuing certification.
  • Currently residing and working in the U.S.
  • Experience with ProSystem fx Engagement, ProSystem fx Tax, and CCH Axcess.
