Job Description

A materials procurement company near the Elizabethtown, KY area is looking for an experienced Korean / English bilingual HR Generalist to support their new warehousing project. The ideal candidate has previous HR experience in a warehousing or manufacturing setting.

Responsibility for Human Resources Generalist:

  • Manage onboarding process of local staff including I-9 verification and orientation
  • Serve as primary contact for local staff's HR-related inquiries
  • Support OSHA and safety compliance from an HR perspective
  • Create employee files and manage HR documentation, ensuring compliance with best practices
  • Support employee claims process
  • Manage and confirm employee timesheets for payroll processing, including record keeping of time off, etc.
  • Other HR Administrative tasks as assigned by HR Manager.

Minimum Requirements for Human Resources Generalist:

  • Korean / English Bilingual Skills at Professional Level (Read, Write, and Speak)
  • Bachelor Degree is preferred
  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a warehousing or manufacturing industry.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Astute problem-solving and coaching skills
  • Physical requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, and walk regularly. Must be able to use hands to feel, grasp, lift, and manipulate a variety of paperwork and interact with a computer. Must be able to see and hear with the ability to use near, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
