Join Banner Health and be part of a dedicated team supporting all staff members in the healthcare industry. We are seeking a motivated individual for the role of Ambulatory Surgery Scheduler in Tucson, Arizona.

This role involves scheduling surgical, cardiovascular, or obstetrical procedures using a computerized system, acquiring authorizations, and coordinating with medical staff to ensure smooth surgical workflows. Responsibilities include managing patient information, entering orders and charges, and acting as a liaison among staff, physicians, and patients.

Location:

3838 N Campbell Ave Building 2 Tucson AZ

Hours:

8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of medical clerical experience, preferably in hospital or physician office scheduling.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, payor contracts, and proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and scheduling systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and teamworking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional related education or experience.

Additional Information:

Must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card if working at Banner Scottsdale Sports Medicine.
