Position Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in Florida to support our growing portfolio of projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in surveying and mapping for large mass excavation and civil infrastructure construction , ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality on every job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide surveying oversight for large-scale excavation, utility installation, and site development projects.
• Prepare, review, and certify survey maps, plats, and legal descriptions.
• Conduct boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys.
• Oversee field crews and ensure data accuracy for earthwork and utility layouts.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field supervisors to resolve design or alignment issues.
• Maintain compliance with Florida state laws and professional surveying standards.
• Utilize GPS, total stations, drones, and other surveying technology to capture and manage data.

Qualifications:

• Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License in the State of Florida (required).
• 5+ years of surveying experience with a focus on mass excavation and civil infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of construction staking, boundary surveys, and utility layouts.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design/survey software.
• Experience managing survey crews and coordinating with construction teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
