Job Description

Our client, a respected regional employee-owned firm , is seeking a skilled Land Survey Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio of surveying projects in the Vancouver, WA area. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed surveyor or seasoned professional ready to take ownership of projects, mentor teams, and foster lasting client relationships within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivision, and construction staking surveys.
  • Lead, mentor, and support both field and office survey teams to ensure technical excellence and professional development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and public agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review, sign, and certify plats, legal descriptions, and other survey deliverables in compliance with Washington state standards.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to coordinate project execution.
  • Develop project proposals, budgets, scopes of work, and respond to RFPs with strategic insight and accuracy.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing land surveying projects, preferably in the Pacific Northwest.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a commitment to team development and client service.
  • Deep understanding of Washington state surveying laws, standards, and best practices.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Washington or ability to obtain through reciprocity.
  • Proficiency in modern surveying technologies and software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, Leica).
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, employee-owned culture that values initiative, integrity, and collaboration.
