Job Title: QC/QA Manager
Location: Paterson New Jersey
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Reports To: Corporate Director of QC/QA
Salary: Starting at $100,000 a year

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) Manager to lead our quality and compliance efforts in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and ensuring compliance with all internal and external quality standards including GMP, ISO9001, ISO13485, FSSC, and FDA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and promote a strong quality culture across the organization.
• Maintain compliance with all quality-related standards, policies, and SOPs.
• Conduct internal audits and develop corrective/preventative action plans.
• Supervise and train QC/QA personnel, including shift inspectors.
• Oversee inspection, testing, and documentation for industrial processes and materials.
• Manage and support ISO and FDA certifications and ensure regulatory readiness.
• Prepare compliance reports and track trends for process improvement.
• Drive safety, efficiency, and compliance through policy updates and training.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to solve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a related field.
• 4–5 years of quality management experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, ISO standards, quality audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership and people management skills, including interviewing, hiring, and performance management.
• Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and develop action plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Spanish is a plus.
• Proficiency in mathematical concepts related to quality assurance (statistics, ratios, percentages).
• Experience with medical devices, OTC/BTC products, or ethical pharmaceuticals preferred.
