Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Regional Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advancing our corporate mission while aligning with established corporate goals and objectives. This role is crucial for driving the growth of sales potential for all Private Brand products within the assigned marketing area. Key Responsibilities: * Achieve corporate goals related to the growth of sales for Private Brand products. * Coordinate effectively with the Warehouse Director of Marketing and Procurement, Wholesaler Category Managers, Retailers, Topco Category Manager, and Topco suppliers. * Manage all phases of customer relationships, ensuring quality customer service is delivered in a timely, responsive, and efficient manner. * Manage and supervise Baton Rouge employees. * Collaborate closely with the President to align strategies and initiatives. Customer Service Capacity Regional Managers are expected to direct activities of marketing/sales. Regional Managers are directly responsible for assuring customer service and for establishment and achievement of service delivery objectives. They routinely present all new Topco products to warehouse buyers and make certain that inventories provide a ninety-five to ninety-seven percent service level. Regional Managers are responsible to continually survey and evaluate customer needs for additional services, new item placement and advice to maximize distribution and proper shelf placement of Topco products. They should recommend improvements to customers regarding shelf placement and recommend retail pricing strategies that are competitive, add value to the retail customer, provide competitive gross margin to the retailer and remain competitive with the national brand equivalent. They will coordinate advertising funds with the Warehouse Director of Marketing and Procurement. Full Service Results Regional Managers advise Topco category managers and warehouse marketing staff of changes in sales trends, competitive retail activity and any other information that may impact their assigned territory. They present and coordinate all promotional allowances. They work closely with the warehouse team to develop and implement all schematics. They serve as liaison between Topco category managers and the Director of Procurement at the warehouse. Regional Managers will demonstrate a high level of professionalism in personal and professional relationships that enhance DeJarnett's and Topco's image. Regional Managers keep the customer advised of opportunities for in-store merchandising including point of sale materials, retail signing programs and seek an aggressive approach to off-shelf displays. They seek opportunities to enhance the marketing and sales of Topco products by routinely surveying major retailers on pricing, distribution, shelf placement, sales trends, competitive retail activity and product lines. They develop basic strategies and objectives to maximize sales potential. Financial Results Regional Managers are responsible, both individually and as a team, to create and direct a service program that achieves customer satisfaction and the long-term profit objectives and performance goals for DeJarnett Sales. Staff Development Regional Managers staff, train and supervise personnel to achieve a balance of quality services to our customers. They are responsible for attracting, selecting, developing and retaining the best employees for DeJarnett. Regional Managers are responsible for providing an on-going job development program that provides succession planning for DeJarnett and affords all employees an opportunity for advancement within the company, while serving our customers with the best trained people in our industry. They are directly responsible for the performance management of each employee within their market area. Although they may delegate the responsibility for performance to an Account Manager, the final responsibility rests with the Regional Manager. Regional Managers are responsible for creating a sense of trust and open communications with their employees.
