Internal Audit Senior | $100k-$125k + 15% Bonus

Hybrid (VA)

Our client, a thriving player in the Financial Services industry, with a 20% revenue surge last year, is searching for a Internal Auditor Senior to join their dynamic team led by top-tier executives from VC, PE, and Big 4 backgrounds. With a strong emphasis on accountability and collaboration, this company offers an alternative to traditional banking and nurtures a consulting-like culture.

This is the second person on their compliance – will be a key player in developing the organization’s processes.

Responsibilities

• Audit Planning and Execution
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation
• Internal Control Evaluation
• Collaboration and Strategic Alignment
• Ideally Operational and Controls side
• Examine and analyze loans to validate credit performance classifications, risk identification standards, underwriting practices, credit administration, and compliance with federal banking regulations.
• Develop process flows, documented key metrics, and oversaw the effectiveness of testing key controls to identify and track risks and provide recommendations for controls or strategies to mitigate those risks

Ideal Profile

• 3-7+ years

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) - preferred
