The Hired Guns are seeking a passionate Senior User Experience Researcher to support the core UX team at a highly soughtafter global tech company. This fulltime contract opportunity will start out remote, then postCOVID will move onsite in either NYC or San Fran.
A leader in the fields of UX and research needs a Senior User Experience Researcher to lead a team thats devoted to collecting and analyzing user feedback for the development of new applications and features.
As Senior UX Researcher, youll work alongside designers and engineers, helping to create internalfacing applications and tools for over 200,000 employees. (If history is any guide, some of these projects may later become globallyused external applications!) Youll master the balance of providing rapid research while supporting ongoing core foundational work, and you will move from project to project with the greatest of ease.
How youll know if youre a fit
You have 6 or more years of experience with generative and evaluative research on internal tools and have worked closely and collaboratively with designers, product managers and engineers. Youve worked with mixed methods research, you deliver results quickly, and you thrive in environments where fast change and ambiguity are the norm.
Because UX testing for digital products across web and mobile can pivot abruptly, youre comfortable with changing direction quickly and are skilled at keeping several initiatives in the air at once. A focus on DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) is core to your research approach, and you always keep accessibility in mind. In your current role, you are moderating or designing endtoend research. (Bonus if you have a background in anthropology, humancentered design, psychology, cognition, or sociology.)
