A dynamic opportunity exists for a skilled candidate to provide essential munication support in a middle school setting. This position is designed for the 2025-2026 school year, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on the educational experiences of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Minimum EIPA score of 4.0
• Experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with middle school-aged students
• Strong interpersonal and munication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, students, and staff
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and needs

Location:

• Bellevue, WA

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpreting services for deaf or hard of hearing students in classroom and school activities
• Collaborate with educators to facilitate effective munication and enhance student learning
• Attend staff meetings and planning sessions as required
• Maintain professional standards and continue personal development in interpreting practices
• Document and track interpreting hours and services provided
