Role Overview: We’re seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Event Planner to join our team and help bring our community’s celebrations and collaborations to life. This role will be key to creating unforgettable experiences—from professional meetings to weddings, workshops, and community festivals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment and brings creativity, logistical expertise, and a passion for building meaningful experiences.

• Coordinate and oversee events from conception to completion, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience
• Liaise with clients to understand their vision and tailor events to their goals and preferences
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely setup and teardown
• Collaborate with coworking and venue teams to maximize space utility and availability
• Create detailed event proposals, budgets, and timelines
• Ensure all events align with Iver Oak Commons’ community-first mission and brand standards
• Address issues proactively to prevent disruptions and maintain operational excellence
• Maintain clear and open communication with clients, vendors, and internal staff

• Proven experience planning and managing a variety of events (corporate, social, community)

• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
• Comfort with flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
• Familiarity with event software or project management tools is a plus
