Our district educates approximately 10,500 students (representing 50 languages) in preschool through eighth grades in 22 outstanding schools. Our family of schools includes three middle schools (Grades 6-8), fifteen elementary schools (TK/K-5), three schools with all grades (K-8), and one Early Education Center. We also have preschools co-located at our six elementary sites. We have various theme based schools: Montessori, Immersion (Spanish and Mandarin), and STEM.

Job Summary The Education Services Department is looking for people to translate written and oral communications for parents and teachers. We are looking for all languages, but are most in need of translators, for Spanish, Mandarin and Portuguese and Simultaneous American Sign Language.
Translators will attend meetings and parent conferences to support translation for parents. Translators also support the district and school sites with written translation of documents and report card comments. Applicants must have an extensive vocabulary in both English and their second language and follow confidentiality guidelines of the District. All applicants will be interviewed and assessed before acceptance onto the list of approved translators. Please fill out the classified application and submit to Human Resources.
