Primary Responsibilities: Participate in and uphold a culture aligned with the Oregon Medical Group's Service and Behavioral Standards Caregiver document. Be familiar with and embrace these principles. Perform various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular, and musculoskeletal scans. Position patients correctly to obtain clear images while ensuring their comfort and safety. Capture and save high-quality ultrasound images that accurately represent the anatomy or pathology. Provide the physician with relevant clinical history for each exam. Maintain ultrasound equipment through routine maintenance and quality control checks. Keep surrounding areas neat and organized. Report any equipment failures or maintenance issues to the Department Manager. Coordinate with front desk staff to ensure a smooth ultrasound schedule. Compile necessary statistics as directed by the Department Manager. Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and medical knowledge via continuing education and training. Graduate of an approved ultrasound technology program. Registered or eligible for registration with ARDMS in ultrasound physics, general abdominal, OB/GYN. Current Sonography license from the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (permanent or temporary). Obtain a permanent license within one year of hire. Current BLS certification or ability to complete it within 90 days of hire. Experience with computers for professional communication and documentation (Excel, Outlook, EHRs). Preferred Qualifications: Additional ARDMS registries. Over one year of ultrasound tech experience. OB/GYN specialization. Experience with Epic software.
