Join to apply for the Ultrasound Tech (Ob/Gyn, Per Diem)(SEIU) role at Boston Medical Center (BMC) . Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Ultrasound Supervisor, the Ultrasound Technologist provides skill and initiative to the department mission through interactions with staff, Supervisor, and others as necessary. Primary duties include working as a Technologist on either East Newton or Harrison Avenue campus, while implementing policies and procedures as determined by the Supervisor and Radiology Administrative Director. Position Details: Department: Ob/Gyn Schedule: Per Diem, (SEIU) Education: Completion of two years of post-high school training in an approved school of radiologic technology. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: RDMS required. Registry eligible candidates will be eligible for hire but must obtain RDMS certification within one year of employment. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of principles and procedures of Ultrasound, operation and maintenance of radiologic and/or ultrasound equipment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients, instructing students, and supervising staff technologists.
