Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Equipment Project Manager with 4-7 years of relevant experience to lead the planning, installation, and operational integration of waste handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with equipment such as shredders, compactors, balers, and conveyance systems. This role involves end-to-end project management, from coordination with general contractors to training operations staff and documenting workflows.

• Manage and oversee the installation of waste handling equipment, including shredders, compactors, balers, and conveyance systems.
• Coordinate with General Contractors to ensure seamless installation and commissioning.
• Lead the commissioning process and ensure all equipment is fully operational and meets performance specifications.
• Provide comprehensive training to operational staff on equipment use and maintenance.
• Develop and document standard operating procedures for equipment usage.
• Analyze and document waste flow processes to optimize efficiency and compliance.
• Act as the primary liaison with site waste collection vendors to ensure alignment and integration of services.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• 4-7 years of experience in equipment project management
• Experience with waste stream management and regulatory compliance standards.
• Proven experience managing installations of waste handling equipment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with external contractors and vendors.
• Experience developing procedural documentation and training programs.

Preferred:

• Background and experience with pharmaceutical waste handling processes and compliance requirements
