Cardiac Sonographer  needed for a contract  opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Fairfield, CA

Top Skills Should You Possess:

• Cardiology Experience in Inpatient or Outpatient setting required
• Current RDCS or RVT Certification required
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm (35 hours per week) 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsible and accountable for the delivery of all cardiology service modalities according to the Cardiovascular Medicine clinic
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare providers ensuring that high-quality, cost-effective care is provided to all patients under this service by acting as a clinical resource, monitoring standards of practice and patient outcomes; patient satisfaction; and adherence to departmental policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Provide direct patient care relative to the department organizational policies and procedures, which may include but are not limited to: ECG, echocardiograms, stress echoes, ECG stress test, monitoring, vascular studies, etc.
• Document data in the electronic record base (ex: CPACS, Cerner).
• Instruct and assists the patient in preparation for testing and/or procedures according to the needs of the patient population.
• Continually monitor and observe the patient during testing and/or procedure and notifies the physician immediately if needed.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required. 

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• At least one (1) year of experience as a Cardiology Sonographer in Inpatient or Outpatient setting
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications strongly preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Positive attitude, high energy, self-starter and independent thinker
