Senior Technical Project Manager - Analytics

$130,000 - $150,000

A mission-driven organization is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of enterprise-scale data initiatives. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking technology team that plays a key role in advancing operational and strategic outcomes across the business.

The Role

You will oversee end-to-end delivery of technical projects, acting as the link between data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders. From project intake and sprint planning to risk management and stakeholder communication, you'll be responsible for ensuring clarity, momentum, and successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the intake and prioritization of data and analytics initiatives
• Define project scope, budgets, timelines, and deliverables
• Lead agile processes including sprint planning and backlog management
• Use tools like Jira, Asana, and Confluence to track progress and coordinate teams
• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders
• Ensure alignment with data architecture and governance standards

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years in project management, ideally within data or analytics teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Proven experience delivering projects in Agile or Scrum environments
• Working knowledge of SQL, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and BI tools
• Proficiency with project management platforms (Jira, Trello, Confluence)
• PMP or Scrum Master certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
